Julia and Zach's Milwaukee Zoo Wedding

On a chilly morning of September 29th, I exactly drove to St. Elizabethan Church in New Berlin. I couldn’t have been more ecstatic to photograph this wedding. Julia has been a friend of mine for almost five years; we were camp counselors together through college and we had field trips every summer at the zoo. It really came full circle to be able to capture her wedding and be a part of their special day.

Burlington Fall Wedding

I had the most wonderful opportunity to be the second photographer along side Brittney Mangold Photography. (Go check her out if you are in the Burlington area!) We got to capture the beautiful wedding of Lauren and Vaughn. These love birds have actually been in each other’s lives since second grade. There was a picture they had displayed of the two of them in the same first communion class. They had no idea that each other was in that same class! Small world, but the stars aligned and brought them together when they got to high school.

Madelynn's Waterfall Senior Session

After several days of rain I got to capture this ray of sunshine! Madelynn was such a joy to work with and we made the best of our very mosquito-y situation. She is a senior at Franklin High School and is looking to pursue Chemistry in college. All the props to her because science was definitely NOT my strong suit. That’s why I went for art. Madelynn rocked her session with such grace and happiness I would have loved her session to go on even longer! Too bad that we were loosing daylight and we arrived at the end of the session.

Vanessa Jordan Photography Branding Packages

Hey there friends! I wanted to write this blog post because, if you haven't noticed two weeks ago I launched my branding packages in my shop and I want to talk a little bit about them! First off if you don't already know, I am a full-time graphic designer and I wanted to share that side of me with you. Something that has been brought to my attention, is how hard it is to create your own branding, create your logo, know what colors to use, know what’s going to look right and just know the tips and tricks that a graphic designer would know but, a small business owner really wouldn’t know. I created these branding packages in hopes that they will help you and they will give you kind of a jump start on your branding experience. So for example, one of the branding packages I have is called AB Modern. It's a very modern style, very minimalist, black and white and can really be used for pretty much any business.
